In the past year or so, I have found some fantastic news sites, blogs and blog aggregator websites and I sift through these daily to find great content to share. Here are my 10 top sites for info about home based business (aside from Support a WAHP ofcourse!):
- Startup Smart http://www.startupsmart.com.au/. (disclosure: I write for Startup Smart, but only because they’re awesome!). Start up Smart offers an impressive amount of relevant news about starting a business, marketing and home based business.
- Biz Sugar http://www.bizsugar.com/. Biz Sugar aggregates content from other business blogs and has a weekly poll where readers can vote for their favourite articles. I’ve been regularly contributing blog posts to Biz Sugar in the past month and have enjoyed sharing other article
s from the website with my Twitter followers.
- Inc.com http://www.inc.com/running-a-home-based-business. Inc.com has lots of articles about home based business, entrepreneurship and marketing. I often share their content with my Twitter followers.
- Small Biz Trends: http://smallbiztrends.com/ is dedicated to information, news and latest trends in relation to small business.
- Flying Solo http://www.flyingsolo.com.au specialises in information for Australian-based micro businesses and solo entrepreneurs. They blog weekly and have an awesome forum.
- Duct Tape Marketing Blog: http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/blog/ I love John Jantschs’s tips. He finds and produces awesome small biz resources and shares them with his subscribers. Get on his list!
- Build a Little Biz http://www.buildalittlebiz.com/. Karen Gunton kicks ass with her weekly aggregation of fantastic little biz resources and she is going to be one of our regular contributors on Support a WAHP! We are honoured. Karen’s focus is on very small businesses, and creative entrepreneurs.
- Itty Biz: http://ittybiz.com/ I came across this fantastic little home biz blog via a random search. A terrific insight into the work at home world.
- DIY Marketers: http://www.diymarketers.com/ Great marketing tips for people who do it all in their businesses.
