About Samuel’s House

“Samuel’s House is a family-run home for abandoned and orphaned children.

Hannah and Nehamee are Thai pastors with the House of Grace network of churches in Thailand. They started a church in 2002 in a village called Phayakkhaphum Phisai in the Maharsarakham province, North-East Thailand. Prompted by God and seeing the need, Hannah and Nehamee started a grassroots children’s home in January 2006 and currently have twelve children in their care.

There are currently 150 million orphans worldwide. Projected statistics estimate that by the year 2015 this figure will increase to 400 million. These children often suffer neglect, poor health and emotional trauma, turning to crime to survive.

At Samuels’s House we are motivated by this need and seek to provide sustainable solutions to this worldwide issue, one child at a time.

You can be involved in this great work by sponsoring a child, volunteering, or donating to projects.”

How we are going to help

Cas and Wayne have been sponsoring one of the Samuel’s House kids since early 2011. This year, Cas is going to Thailand in October to spend some time volunteering at Samuel’s House and to spend time working with local women and midwives in the village. Before she leaves, she will be collecting donations of good quality children’s wear to take with her as clothes are always in short supply. Monetary Donations for medical supplies for the local midwives and other equipment for Samuel’s House would also be appreciated.
